Itinerary
Drive from Kathmandu to the resort in Chitwan. After lunch, a sightseeing tour to Chitwan National Park includes a visit to Tharu village, a Visitor center, and a sunset viewpoint. During this time we visit to observe a cultural program (Tharu stick dance) after having dinner.
Today, we will start our wildlife exploration in Chitwan National Park, as we will awake early in the morning, have some breakfast and get ready to enjoy our very first jungle safari to the national park. The safari will take to the national park within the elephant grass and will enhance the chances to get closer to the wildlife. We will visit the Elephant breeding center or Canoeing and jungle walk for about 2 to 4 hours. Elephant Safari after lunch and finally dinner in the evening.
After having breakfast, this morning will be dedicated to the birdlife of Chitwan National Park. It is home to more than 576 birds species. The species like Kalij Pheasant, Great Hornbill, Pigeons, Woodpeckers, Blue peafowl, etc are found in the forest of the national park which can be spotted during the elephant back safari. Departure from Chitwan after having lunch and finally drive to Kathmandu. Or you can extend your vacation to visit Pokhara or Sunauli.
