Itinerary

Day 1 :

After breakfast head on a short drive towards the northern outskirts of the valley. Following the high winding roads reach the settlement of Kakani Bazaar. Upon reaching the Bazaar after a brief orientation head on an exciting hike. The hike leads you across majestic terrains providing exceptional panoramic views of the greater Himalayan range and distant networks of hills. Explore various rural settlements, terrace farmlands, and several agricultural farmlands. Also start conversations and get insight into the culture and lifestyle of the people. Traversing across deep wilderness far from the bustling noises of the city witness the pristine forest of the central Nepal. The region is also famous for its biodiversity so keep an eye out. After relaxing and soaking in the majestic views head back towards Kathmandu.

FAQs

Hiking Information: 

The Hiking starts at 8 a.m. Private transportation will pick you up from any accommodation you are staying in Kathmandu. A short drive and eventually you will start your hike. After the hike is completed, you will be dropped at your accommodation.

Difficulty Level 

The Kakani Village – Day Hike is suitable for any age group having normal physical fitness.

Travel Insurance: 

Travel insurance is required for all clients engaging in any activity. We strongly urge you to obtain a complete insurance plan from reputable insurance.

Passport and Visa: 

Every client must have a valid passport from the return date with a 6 months prior validity by the Nepalese consulate in your country or immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
