Itinerary

The flight into Kathmandu Valley is spectacular, with a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains and the valley below. Our agent will greet and welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport, drive you to your hotel, and assist you with all of your travel requirements. Early morning head towards the Tribhuvan International Airport and catch a flight to Lhasa. Lhasa perched at an altitude of 3,650 Meters, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama. Along the flight soak in the grand views of endless snowcapped Himalayas. Upon landing at Lhasa head towards your accommodation and rest. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfast head on a full day sightseen tour of Lhasa's most famous landmarks. First, visit the iconic Potala Palace, situated on a top of a single hill offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the residence of the Dalai Lama and is considered to be one of the most significant cultural and religious sites in Tibet. Here soak in the intricate artwork, religious artifacts, and stunning architecture as you explore the palace's halls, chapels, and rooms. Next, head to Norbulingka, also known as the "Treasure Park." Covering an area of around 360,000 square meters, it is considered to be the largest man-made garden in Tibet. Stroll through the park's many gardens, pavilions, and temples, admiring the stunning landscapes and beautiful architecture. The park is also home to a museum that houses a fascinating collection of Tibetan artifacts and artwork. After exploring the landmarks head back to your accommodation. Begin your day with a delicious breakfast, then embark on a full day tour of some of Lhasa's most fascinating attractions. Your first stop will be the Sera Monastery, located 5 kilometers north of Lhasa. Admire the stunning setting of the monastery, one of the prettiest in Lhasa, and learn about its history as a community of over 5,000 monks that was nearly extinguished by the Chinese. Next, visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa. This sacred temple houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha, gifted by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. Admire the intricate carvings and colorful decorations of this stunning example of Tibetan architecture. Afterwards, head to the Barkhor Market, a bustling and vibrant marketplace that is the religious and social focus of Lhasa. Explore the narrow streets and alleyways, browse the many shops and stalls selling traditional Tibetan crafts, souvenirs, and religious artifacts, and soak up the lively atmosphere. Start the day with a drive to the Ganden Monastery, traversing through the picturesque landscape of Tibet. Along the drive witness the stunning natural beauty of Tibet and its unique culture. Once we arrive at Ganden Monastery, soak in the mesmerizing intricate architecture and the serene surroundings of the monastery. The Ganden Monastery was founded by Je Tsongkhapa Lozang-dragpa, in 1409. The monastery is renowned for its ancient scriptures, thangkas, and other cultural artifacts which are a testament to the rich Tibetan culture. Here explore the various halls and prayer rooms of the monastery and learn about the history and culture of Tibet. Also, witness the daily rituals and ceremonies performed by the monks. After spending the morning at the monastery, head back to. In the afternoon, explore the local markets and shops for some souvenir. Head out of Lhasa and along the Friendship highway to Gyantse Via Yamdrok Lake, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Along the way cross the Khambo La and Kharo La passes and witness the panoramic views of the Tibetan Plateau. Next traverse across the rural region of the country reach Shigatse. Along the way visit various monasteries including the Tashilhunpo Monastery, Palkor Monastery, Palchoi Pagoda and the Tzong fortress. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfast head on a guided tour of Shigatse. Visit the Seat of Panchen Lamas – Tashilumpo Monastery. After exploring the monastery head towards the Sakya Monastery. Here explore the imperial certificates, gold signets, crowns, costumes bestowed by the Yuan Dynasty emperors. The monasteries also house over 10,000 volumes of Tibetan books on astronomy, medicine, calligraphy, and history. Upon reaching Shegar head towards your accommodation and rest. After breakfast head on a scenic drive through the beautiful Tibetan countryside offering views of vast landscapes and stunning mountain ranges. Also pass through several small villages and towns, witnessing the daily life of the local people and gaining insight into their unique customs and traditions. Upon reaching Rongbuk, explore the highest monastery in the world, perched at an altitude of 5,000 meters. Rongbuk Monastery is a revered site for Tibetan Buddhists and is renowned for its stunning architecture, rich history, and cultural significance. Here soak in and admire the intricate artwork, explore its labyrinthine corridors, and learn about its rich history. Upon reaching Rongbuk, head on a adventure to experience the majesty of the world's highest peak. The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp, passing through some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the world. Arriving at the Everest Base Camp. Head on a hike up to the campsite, where you can explore the area and take in the breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the surrounding mountain ranges. The hike is a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with one of the world's most iconic natural wonder. After exploring Everest Base Camp, head back to Rongbuk. Wake up before dawn and witness the splendid views of the sun rising. After breakfast head on a scenic drive through the stunning Tibetan countryside. Along the way witness the vast landscapes, magnificent mountains, and alluring river valleys. Along the way also visit the Peikutso Lake. Upon reaching Saga if you are not too tired proceed out to explore the settlement. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfast head on a long drive towards the holy Manasarovar. Upon reaching Manasarovar Witness the holy lake and the pictorious view of the Mt. Kailash. Here stroll around the banks of The holy lake performing rituals and taking a dip in its holy water. After the completion of your Puja head towards your accommodation. Today you will be exploring around the wonders of Manasarovar. Early morning visit the lake and sit beside the tranquil water. After breakfast head on to explore the ancient Chiu Monastery. From the monastery catch the glimpse of the holy Mt. Kailash looming at a distance. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

Today head towards Zada and explore the Zada stone forest. Here witness the natures masterpiece. Later visit the renowned Guge Kingdom Ruins. In the afternoon relax soaking in the views of the sunset. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

Head on a short drive towards Darchen. Along the way visit the Tholing Monastery. Next proceed towards Tarboche, a village perched at the foot of holy Mt. Kailash. Upon reaching Darchen relax and rest. Later explore the settlement and learn about the culture and traditions of the mountain people. In the evening attend a brief orientation regarding the Kora. Today you will be heading on an 18 kilometers trek through the valley, along the holy Ganges River on your left and the magnificent Mount Kailash on your right. Following the high mountain trails enjoy the grand views of the surrounding. Upon reaching Dehara Puk relax and enjoy the grand views around. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

Today’s trek will take you across higher sections and takes around 10-12 hours to complete, so it’s very crucial to start early. Traversing across the dry and arid sections cross Yamasthal to reach the Shiva-sthal. From here head towards Dolma-La Pass. Upon reaching the summit of the pass, witness the panoramic views of landscapes. After spending a brief time at the pass following the downward trail head towards Zuthal Puk. Along the way witness Parvati- sthal and Gauri Kund. Upon arriving at Zuthal Puk relax for a while. Later explore the various cave networks around, know as the caves of miracle. This is the final day of the Kora. First traversing across the mountain country cross several streams and follow an impressive gorge. Along the soak in the magnificent views of Mt. Kailash. After a long walk reach the flat Bharka plain and following the arid dusty trails across the desert-like landscape eventually reach Darchen. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

Today is your last day of Parikrama and the hike is around 3 hours. After the hike is completed Head on a long drive to Saga. Upon arriving at Saga relax and rest. Later if you are not too tired Head out to explore. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfast head out of Saga. Along the way enjoy the drive across the scenic route, witnessing the beauty of the surrounding landscapes of the Tibetan plateau. along the way. Upon reaching Lhatse relax and rest. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

Today you will be heading back to Lhasa. In Lhasa you will staying with a Tibetan family learning about their way of life, culture, and traditions. Later head back towards your accommodation and if your are not too tired explore around the settlement. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

In the morning depart from Lhasa to Tsedang, a small city nestled in the heart of the Yarlung Valley, which is considered as the cradle of Tibetan culture. Along the way visit Tsedang, and also cross the Yarlung Tsampo River . Here explore the Tibet’s earliest monastery, Samye monastery. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

Today you will be exploring around the Tsedang. Here visit the old earth tombs of former kings, explre the Thandruk Monastery, and Tibet’s oldest building, Yambu Lakang, a fort perched high in the mountains overlooking the vast plain. After exploring around head towards your accommodation. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfast head to the Gonggar Airport in Lhasa and board a flight to Kathmandu. Along the flight witness grand views of desert like landscapes and never ending rows of mountains. Upon landing at Kathmandu head towards your accommodation. Later in the evening join in for a farewell dinner program to mark the end of your adventure.
