Nagarkot and Changunarayan Hike: Explore the majestic Himalayas, Embark on a full-day tour from Kathmandu to Nagarkot, and the magnificent Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Langtang, and Gaurishanker. During the tour, you will hike downhill for four hours amidst stunning mountain scenery, visiting villages and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed temple Changu Narayan. If the skies are clear, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains. The tour includes a guide, lunch, and round-trip transportation from Kathmandu.
There are two options for the trip:
- First visit Bhaktapur (optional), then drive to Changunarayan, hike up to Nagarkot, and return after the Sunset View.
- Alternatively, you can choose a sunrise tour or sunset tour without the hikes.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us at the Female Guide Holiday. We have the absolute authority to cancel the trip or change the itinerary, when deemed necessary or when we have reason to believe your safety is at stake. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, natural disasters, and such, can contribute to changes in the itinerary when traveling in remote mountainous regions. In these extreme situations, we kindly request that you offer your full cooperation to the trusted leader of the group appointed by the Female Guide Holiday. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to keep to the above itinerary.
Itinerary
The Nagarkot day hiking trip starts at 7:30 am or 8:00 am. Our guide and driver will pick you up from your place and drop you off after the tour.
The itinerary includes watching the sunrise from Nagarkot, hiking to Changunarayan from Nagarkot, and optional Bhaktapur sightseeing before returning to Kathmandu. You can include the Bhaktapur visit in your trip cost if you wish.
