Itinerary
Wake up early and after breakfast head on a long drive towards Charikot. The drive takes you following across the hills of central Nepal following various river networks and several dotted settlements. Upon reaching Charikot after a brief rest start your trek. Traversing along an ascending route reach Kuri village. After a brief refreshment break head out to explore around and soak in the grand views of the landscapes around. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
Today wake up early and after breakfast head on a beautiful hike towards the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple perched on the top of the hill at an altitude of 3,842 meters. Following the well-marked trails, you'll pass through beautiful landscapes and breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Upon reaching the top, witness a panoramic view of the surrounding Himalayan range. Soak in the views of Dorje Lhakpa, Gurkarpo Ri, Longpogan, Bhairav Takura, and endless other peaks of the Himalayas. After spending some time at the temple, retrace your steps back towards the Kuri village. The hike down takes around 2 hours and is relatively easier than the ascent. Along the way stop by some of the local tea houses and interact with the locals learning about their culture and way of life. Upon reaching Kuri, relax and rest enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
Wake up before dawn and soak in the views of the sunrise. After breakfast retrace your steps back to Charikot. Upon reaching Charikot head on a long drive toward Kathmandu. If you not too tired, you may explore the city on your own or head on a guided tour of the valley. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel
