Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Paro, you'll be greeted by a representative from the Female Guide Kathmandu, who will escort you to your accommodations in Thimphu. The drive itself will be a feast for your eyes as you take in breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Once you've settled in at your hotel, your guide will take you on a comprehensive tour of Paro, allowing you to explore the city's numerous landmarks and cultural sites. Among the stops on your itinerary will be Dungste Lhakang, a temple built in the 15th century, and Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery that serves as a symbol of Bhutan's rich heritage and traditions. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the National Museum of Bhutan, which houses a vast collection of artifacts and exhibits related to the country's history and culture. If the weather is clear, you'll be able to marvel at the magnificent peaks, including Masagang (7,158 m), Tsendagang (6,960 m), Terigang (7,060 m), Jejegangphugang (7,158 m), Kangphugang (7,170 m), and Zongphugang (7,060 m). A highlight of the panoramic views is the table mountain that dominates the isolated region of Lunana, which is a stunning sight to behold.
