The tour begins upon your arrival at Paro Airport. Where Female Guide Kathmandu representative will greet you and take you to your accommodation. You’ll start your journey with a guided tour of Paro. Visiting incredible landmarks such as the Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang, a 15th-century temple, Rinpung Dzong, Bhutan’s national museum, and Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country.
From there, you’ll head to Thimphu, the capital city, and the largest in Bhutan. Marvel at the sight of the Tiger’s Nest, perched precariously on a sheer cliff face. Visit other notable attractions like the National Memorial Chorten, Drubthob Goemba, Tashichho Dzong, and the colossal Buddha Dordenma. As the tour comes to an end, you’ll return to Paro.

Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Paro, you'll be greeted by a representative from the Female Guide Kathmandu, who will escort you to your accommodations in Thimphu. The drive itself will be a feast for your eyes as you take in breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Once you've settled in at your hotel, your guide will take you on a comprehensive tour of Paro, allowing you to explore the city's numerous landmarks and cultural sites. Among the stops on your itinerary will be Dungste Lhakang, a temple built in the 15th century, and Rinpung Dzong, a fortress monastery that serves as a symbol of Bhutan's rich heritage and traditions. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the National Museum of Bhutan, which houses a vast collection of artifacts and exhibits related to the country's history and culture. Additionally, you'll explore Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in Bhutan, and learn about its significance as a sacred site for the Bhutanese people.
Today you will be immersing into the hidden wonders of Thimphu. Your day will begin with a visit to the Memorial Chorten, a beautiful and revered monument built in honor of the late Third King of Bhutan. Next, you'll have the opportunity to explore the serene Zilukha Nunnery and the Takin Sanctuary, where you can catch a glimpse of the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin. As you continue your journey through Thimphu, you'll visit a variety of cultural institutions that showcase Bhutan's rich heritage and traditions. These will include the Indigenous Hospital, the Textile Museum, the Heritage Museum, the Traditional School of Arts and Crafts, and the magnificent Tashicho Dzong. Later in the day, you'll have the chance to explore the Zangdopelri temple and visit the renowned paper factory, where you can see firsthand how Bhutanese paper is made using traditional methods.
Today you will be heading to one of Bhutan's most iconic landmarks - Paro Taktsang, also known as The Tiger's Nest. Perched high atop a sheer cliff, this breathtaking monastery was built in the late 17th century and is believed to be the very site where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days, and three hours in the 8th century. The hike to the monastery itself is an adventure, taking you through stunning natural landscapes and offering sweeping views of the Paro Valley. Along the way, you'll stop at a restaurant located halfway up the mountain where you can indulge in a delicious lunch while taking in the enchanting surroundings. As you near your destination, the awe-inspiring sight of Paro Taktsang will come into view, filling you with a sense of wonder and reverence. Spend some time exploring the intricate architecture and rich history of this sacred site before retracing your steps and descending back down to the valley floor.
