Your adventure begins with a scenic flight to Lukla, where you’ll be captivated by the awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas. From Lukla, you’ll follow the well-trodden trails to Phakding, immersing yourself in the picturesque landscapes along the way. As you continue your journey, you’ll make your way towards the vibrant Namche Bazaar, a bustling hub nestled in the heart of the Everest region. Following your Tengboche Monastery encounter, the return trek retraces its steps back to Lukla, where a scenic flight to Kathmandu awaits. Itinerary
The flight into Kathmandu Valley is spectacular, with a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains and the valley below. Our agent will greet and welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport, drive you to your hotel, and assist you with all of your travel requirements. You will have time to visit the city after you have checked in (depending on your arrival time). Meal: Welcome Dinner Accommodation: Hotel
After breakfast head towards the airport and board a flight to Lukla. An exciting flight to Lukla, a picturesque mountaintop Sherpa settlement. Upon landing at Lukla and after a brief rest start the trek descending towards the Dudh Koshi River through Chauri Kharka settlement. Next traversing across the lush woodlands and Dudh Koshi Valley reach the picturesque settlement of Phakding. If you are not too fatigued, take a stroll through the village and interact with the inhabitants. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
Set out for Namche Bazaar, also renowned as Nepal’s Sherpa capital. The trail passes the Dudh Koshi, a milky glacial river up to Monjo. From here cross a suspension bridge and trek through the mesmerizing pine woodlands. Next cross numerous suspension bridges, including the well-known Hillary Suspension Bridge. Once you reach Jorsale arrange your permits for inspection before you enter the Sagarmatha National Park entrance. From here following the ascending trails reach the renowned settlement of Namche Bazaar. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
Today enjoy and entire day exploring the wonders of Namche Bazaar. Proper acclimatization is crucial as you ascend higher in altitude. Your body must acclimate to the thinner air at greater elevations. The village has various vantage points for acclimatization hike. An upward hike to Syangboche Airport and Everest View Hotel provides as an excellent acclimatization hike while offering close-up views of Mount Everest, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam. You could hike to Khumjung and Kunde settlements if you want to or visit Sir Edmund Hillary’s school, first in the Everest Region at Khumjung. Khumjung Monastery, which is almost 400 years old, has what is said to be the scalp of Yeti, the abominable snowman. After the hike head back to your accommodation at Namche. The trail today provides amazing sights of the Himalayan ranges. Some of the Himalayan giants you will view when trekking are Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde. Traversing across juniper and rhododendron forests with the gigantic peaks towering overhead reach Tengboche, a Sherpa settlement. Upon reaching Tengboche relax enjoying the close-up view of Ama Dablam. Later visit Tengboche Monastery, the Khumbu region’s oldest Buddhist monastery. Explore the monastery and attend to the monks’ trance inducing hum and chanting. Furthermore, the golden rays of the sun brushing over the snowy mountains, notably Ama Dablam and Thamserku, it’s not to be missed at dusk. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
Wake up before dawn and enjoy the himalayan sunrise. After breakfast retrace the steps back to Namche Bazar. Along the way cross various sections of lush woodlands and settlements. Upon reaching Namche Bazar head out to explore the settlement. Visit restaurants and pubs around, later in the evening head towards any vantage point to witness the grand views of sunset. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
Today start walking from Namche Bazaar over rugged terrain and deep wilderness. Following the downhill trail along the Dudh Koshi River cross multiple suspension bridges and pass through various monasteries and settlements. Upon reaching Lukla celebrate your last night in the mountains. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
After breakfast head towards the airport and catch a flight to Kathmandu. Upon arriving at the capital proceed towards your accommodation. Today you way explore the city on your own or head a guided tour. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tea House
After breakfast head towards Chitwan. Chitwan is home to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s first national park. The park is regarded as a famous wildlife viewing park in Asia and also is listed in the World Heritage. An excellent opportunity of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys, leopards, wild elephants, Royal Bengal Tiger and 450 species of birds. Upon reaching the park head towards your accommodation and rest. Later stroll around the jungles and head towards the riverbanks to witness splendid views of the sun setting. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel.
• Jungle Safari Early morning headed on a jungle safari tour across the national park. The four wheel jeep drive takes you to various parts of the jungle offering a change to witness the rare biodiversity of the region. • Canoeing Another popular activity in the park is the canoe ride down the Rapti and the Narayani Rivers. This is one of the most serene ways to explore the area and witness several species of birds and reptiles of the region.
• Jungle Walk Later head on an adventure, traversing across the old growth forest and deep woodlands discovering various species of wildlife. Home to more than 540 species of birds, Chitwan National Park is a paradise for birdwatching. Later watch the sun setting and relax on the banks of the river. Later head towards the Tharu village around and learn about the culture, history, and traditions of the indigenous people. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel.
Wake up early and enjoy the grand views of the sunrise. After breakfast head on a long drive towards Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu if you are not too tired explore the vibrant city. Later in the evening join in for a farewell dinner program to mark the end of your successful tour. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Farewell Dinner Accommodation: Hotel.
